The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, applications, and end-user devices. In addition, this role provides comprehensive desktop and hardware support, ensuring users have functional equipment and troubleshooting issues promptly to enhance productivity and minimize downtime.

  • Assists in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and network equipment to ensure a reliable IT and OT environment.
NOTE: OT assets are limited to IT related equipment used in the OT operations.
  • Monitors system performance and conducts routine maintenance tasks, applying updates and patches as scheduled to maintain security and functionality.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves system and network issues, escalating complex problems to the IT Cloud & Systems Head as needed.
  • Provides end-user support by addressing IT-related inquiries, issues, and requests in a timely and professional manner to enhance productivity.
  • Configures and deploys workstations, laptops, printers, and other hardware, ensuring all devices meet company standards and are set up securely.
  • Diagnoses and repairs hardware issues, including desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices, to minimize downtime for end-users.
  • Manages user accounts, permissions, and security settings to maintain a secure and accessible IT environment.
  • Implements backup procedures and ensures data recovery readiness as directed by the supervisor to maintain data availability and integrity.
  • Assists in documenting system configurations, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting steps, and hardware inventory to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinates with vendors for hardware and software support, repairs, or replacements, following guidelines set by the supervisor.
  • Provides basic IT training to end-users on hardware and software use, such as connecting to networks, accessing resources, and general troubleshooting tips.
  • Follows company policies, IT security protocols, and safety rules to maintain a secure and compliant IT/OT environment.
  • Adheres to the company’s Integrated Management Systems policies, standards, and guidelines in daily IT operations.
  • Documents and reports any IT incidents or potential risks to the supervisor to support proactive issue management.
  • Assists in safeguarding information assets by applying access controls and data protection measures as per guidelines.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities as directed by management to meet evolving organizational needs and IT support requirements.
  • Graduate of BSECE, BSCoE and BSIT
  • Any IT Network related certificates is a plus.
  • Professional:
  • Preferably 3-5 years in IT support or infrastructure management with
  • experience in desktop and hardware support
  • 2 vacant positions in Astorga, Davao del Sur and Olangapo
