Position Overview:

The Business Analyst – Funnel & Growth Analytics plays a pivotal role in supporting the company’s revenue and user acquisition goals by providing data-driven insights across the sales and marketing funnel. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and reporting data that drives strategy and decision-making for the Growth and Partnerships team.

SQL proficiency is required, with a strong preference for candidates who can also build self-serve dashboards and work cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end analysis of the funnel—from lead generation, qualification, booking, to closing and onboarding. Monitor funnel health, drop-off points, conversion rates, CAC efficiency, and sales cycle times.
  • Perform ad hoc data deep dives and create regular performance reports for growth leaders and execs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to align data insights with business strategies.
  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards in tools such as Google Data Studio, Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau.
  • Work closely with leadership to develop forecasting models and track performance against KPIs.
  • Provide insights into channel performance, campaign effectiveness, and sales team productivity. Support CRM optimization and data hygiene initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience (junior to mid-level roles).
  • Strong SQL skills are non-negotiable.
  • Experience writing complex queries and joining large datasets.
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales analytics metrics and concepts (CAC, LTV, funnel conversion, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to turn raw data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
  • Preferred but Not Required Experience in a SaaS, fintech, or fast-growing startup environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive. Familiarity with ETL processes and basic scripting in Python or R is a plus.
