MATERIALS PROCUREMENT OFFICER - MANDARIN SPEAKING- Source and purchase raw materials, ingredients, and packaging required for manufacturing operations.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and maintain partnerships with local and Mandarin-speaking international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and stakeholders on specifications, lead times, and order updates.
- Track purchase orders from issuance to delivery, ensuring alignment with production schedules and stock requirements.
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages.
- Analyze market trends, supplier data, and purchase history to identify cost-saving opportunities and supply chain improvements.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
- Must be excellent in oral, writing and reading skills in Mandarin Language.
- With or without experience in procurement and purchasing.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or procurement systems.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and supplier quality management is an advantage.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
