About the role
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Homemaker Furniture Store, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation and management of our warehouse facility in Mandaue City Cebu. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inbound and outbound goods, maintaining inventory control, and supervising a team of warehouse staff to deliver a high level of customer service.
What you'll be doing- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
- Manage and coordinate the work of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the timely processing of orders
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure the seamless delivery of products to customers
- Produce reports and analyses to track key performance indicators and inform strategic decision-making
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and mentor a team
- Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant software
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records
- Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and best practices
