An engine mechanic specializes in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining internal combustion engines and related systems, ensuring optimal vehicle or machinery performance. Key responsibilities include utilizing diagnostic tools, rebuilding engines, replacing parts, performing routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups), and documenting work.
Qualifications/Requirements- At least High School or Vocational Course Graduate or Technical Diploma holder in Automotive Servicing, Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Servicing or other related technical fields
- NC II or NC III Certificate Holder in Heavy equipment servicing (Mechanical) or Automotive Servicing or Diesel Engine Maintenance
- Valid Driver's License (Restriction Code 8)
- Years of relevant experience as an Engine Mechanic in heavy equipment's
- Experienced in engine overhauling, repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of both light and heavy equipment engines
