Fleet and Compliance Staff

The Fleet Management and Compliance Staff is responsible for overseeing and monitoring all company vehicles to ensure they are properly maintained, efficiently utilized, and fully compliant with legal requirements, safety standards, and internal company policies.

This role helps minimize operational risks, penalties, and vehicle downtime.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the company fleet, including vehicle status, utilization, and availability.
  • Ensure all vehicle and driver documents are complete, valid, and compliant (registration, insurance, etc.)
  • Handle incident reports, accidents, and insurance claims, including coordination with third parties.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records, reports, and monitoing flies.
  • Assist in controlling fleet-related cost such as fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors (insurance providers, authoroties, repair shops)
Competency Requirements
  • Knowledge of fleet management propcesses and vehicle maintenance practices
  • Familiarity with transportation laws, traffic regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Basic understanding of insurance policies, claims processing, and incident reporting
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Attention to detail for document monitoring and compliance tracking
  • Ability to analyze fleet data, costs, and usage reports
  • Good coordination and communication skills with drivers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Problem solving skills, especially in handling vehicles issues and incidents
  • Time management skills to handle multiple vehicles, deadlines, and priorities
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (excel, email, fleet monitoring systems)
