About the Role of Team Lead
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Lead to oversee and guide our partner, BlueRock’s Bookkeeping team. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, fostering team growth, and driving efficiency in bookkeeping processes.As a leader, you will inspire collaboration, manage workflows, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance team performance and meet organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback to foster professional development.
- Resolve interpersonal conflicts to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Operational Management
- Oversee Pod Leads and bookkeeping teams to ensure adherence to processes, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Optimize resource allocation to achieve operational efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance accuracy, scalability, and minimize risks.
- Establish performance metrics, conduct evaluations, and recognize exemplary performance.
- Employee Experience
- Promote skill development and career growth through targeted training and succession planning.
- Prioritize team well-being by fostering a supportive, inclusive, and balanced workplace culture.
- Learning and Development
- Assess skill gaps and design tailored training programs for technical and soft skill development.

Requirements
About You
Must-Have Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, particularly with Australian clients.
- Proficiency in Xero and a strong understanding of bookkeeping processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Proficient in time and task management, with a keen eye for detail.
- A team player capable of building strong partnerships and working independently.
- Results-oriented with a focus on client service.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments.
- Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information.
