Public Relation (PR) Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, beauty writers, bloggers, and online publications
• Secure media placements, features, press coverage, and product mentions in reputable beauty and lifestyle outlets
• Prepare and distribute press releases, product pitches, and media kits for new launches and brand milestones
• Organize PR send-outs, editorials, interviews, and founder features to elevate brand presence

• Monitor brand mentions and sentiment across digital platforms
• Draft official brand statements for press-related issues, backlash, or misinformation
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft factual, consistent messaging during sensitive situations
• Maintain a public response protocol for online issues or controversies

• Lead planning and execution of press events, brand launches, offline activations, and media briefing
• Manage invitations, RSVPs, post-event coverage, and brand partnerships
• Collaborate with the Influencer and Affiliate Team to support product seeding, PR kits, and creator visibility

• Develop talking points and press responses for key company figures (e.g., founders, ambassadors)
• Coordinate with legal or compliance teams on sensitive public matters
• Assist in writing speeches, interviews, and campaign communication materials

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management from time to time

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• 1–3 years of professional PR experience, preferably in beauty, skincare, lifestyle, or consumer brands
• Proven success in securing media coverage, managing brand reputation, and handling public communications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino Excellent judgment, diplomacy, and discretion, especially in crisis situations
• Skilled in media monitoring tools, Google Workspace, and familiar with social media platforms
