Job Description- Prepare detailed formwork and scaffolding designs, shop drawings, and perform structural calculations; maintain templates and design standards.
- Respond to technical enquiries from sales, procurement, and customers; deliver technical presentations and support project requirements.
- Provide on-site technical guidance on formwork erection, alignment, and dismantling; ensure proper use of systems and adherence to drawings.
- Conduct site visits to understand construction methodologies and sequences; provide technical input to improve execution.
- Research construction industry updates, materials, and new technologies; present findings and recommendations to management.
- Study and improve installation processes of products; develop and maintain installation guides.
- Develop and deliver product and technical training programs; identify knowledge gaps and enhance training effectiveness.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documents including drawings, method statements, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards including IQC, NCR, and quality requirements; conduct inspections and sample comparisons.
- Assist in technical operations including report preparation, policy development, and process improvements.
- Document past and ongoing projects; attend site meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain effective collaboration across departments and contribute to achieving company and departmental goals.
Job Qualifications
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Licensed Civil Engineer
Experience Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in structural and formwork engineering in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of aluminum formwork systems is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering software
- Knowledge of construction methods and building standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
