About the role
Join VERSA GROUP PHILIPPINES CORPORATION' as a PURCHASING CLERK. This full-time role will be based in Sgt. Rivera Street, Barangay Manresa, Quezon City Metro Manila and will involve supporting the company's purchasing and procurement functions.
What you'll be doing- Responsible for processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records of all purchasing activities
- Identify supply needs and ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for the company
- Maintain and update the company's vendor database, evaluating supplier performance
- Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
- Generate purchasing reports and analysis to support decision-making
- At least 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with internal departments and suppliers
- Proficient in using spreadsheet applications
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
