Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager with a strong background in labor law compliance, grievance management, employee relations, and collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards. This role requires a dynamic leader who can align HR practices with organizational goals, foster a compliant and engaged workplace, and manage key labor and employee relations functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Labor Law and Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with national and local labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Interpret and implement updates to labor legislation and provide guidance to management.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with CBA provisions and RBA requirements, ensuring proper documentation and implementation.
Grievance and Discipline Management
  • Oversee the company’s grievance process to ensure timely, fair, and consistent handling of employee concerns and complaints.
  • Conduct investigations, mediate disputes, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Maintain documentation of all grievance cases and disciplinary actions.
Employee Relations and Engagement
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs and initiatives to improve morale and retention.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Organize employee feedback mechanisms such as surveys, focus groups, and suggestion programs.
CBA and RBA Compliance
  • Act as the primary HR representative in CBA negotiations, renewals, and interpretations.
  • Ensure adherence to RBA standards and participate in audits and reporting.
  • Coordinate training and awareness sessions for employees and leaders on labor standards and RBA compliance.
HR Strategy and Operations
  • Support the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with the business objectives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and resolve workforce planning issues.
  • Lead performance management processes and support employee development programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, employment standards, and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in handling CBA negotiations, grievance procedures, and RBA compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • HR certification (e.g., CHRP, PHR, or SPHR) is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with occasional visits to on-site operations.
  • May require extended hours during labor negotiations, audits, or policy reviews.
