Position Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and manage invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
- Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets.
- Bank Reconciliations: Assist with reconciling bank statements and ensuring all discrepancies are resolved.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Support the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger.
- Document Filing & Organization: Maintain organized records of financial transactions, receipts, and other documentation.
- Support Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
