Process Engineer (Project-based)

Main aim of the job:

• Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency and quality
• Create safe, stable, reliable and cost-effective manufacturing processes that produce high-quality products

Specific duties and responsibilities:

• Continuously analyze and refine production processes to enhance performance output
• Identify and address issues in the processes and implement interim and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure all processes comply with industry standards and quality specifications
• Maintain detailed records of changes (process, parameters, tools, jigs, etc.) to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Evaluate and integrate new machines, tools, technologies to improve production
• Collaborate with cross functional team to ensure proper process implementation
• Responsible for creating PFMEA, Work Instructions, Process Flow Chart, RCN, PCN and ZAP
• Responsible for Time and Motion Study

Personal Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment (experience in wiring harness industry is a good advantage)
• At least 2 years of experience in handling process improvement projects
• Demonstrates key characteristics: integrity, team player, initiative, pro-active, hardworking, responsible, disciplined, self-directed, task-oriented, and flexible.
• Knowledgeable of basic SAP functions and codes
• Strong presentation and analytical skills to determine root causes and immediate and sustainable solutions
• Knowledgeable in process mapping, defect mapping, 5 Why analysis, Fishbone diagram, and other root cause analysis tools
