About the Role
As our Roster / Scheduler, you will play a key role in coordinating clinician rosters across our clinic network. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and adjusting schedules to ensure appropriate clinic coverage, while acting as a central point of contact for rostering changes, leave requests and shift-related queries.
This role requires someone who is calm under pressure, solutions-focused, highly organised, and confident communicating with clinicians and internal stakeholders in a professional and supportive manner.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage clinician rosters across 20+ clinics nationally
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage based on clinic needs, operational requirements and service demand
- Update rosters in response to planned leave, sick leave, urgent changes and other operational needs
- Liaise with clinicians and relevant managers/nurses regarding roster availability, changes and scheduling issues
- Maintain accurate rostering records and ensure all updates are captured in a timely manner
- Monitor staffing gaps and proactively identify solutions to minimise disruption to clinic operations
- Communicate roster changes clearly and professionally to affected team members
- Support continuous improvement in rostering processes and scheduling efficiency
- Assist with general rostering administration and reporting as required
- Handle sensitive staffing information with discretion and confidentiality
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination (In Healthcare is a plus!)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and respond quickly to changing operational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach
- Confidence in dealing with urgent leave requests and last-minute Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think ahead
- A high level of discretion when handling confidential information
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience using rostering systems such as Deputy will be highly regarded
- Previous experience in healthcare, allied health or a multi-site environment will be an advantage
