Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and generate new sales leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Conduct compelling presentations and product/service demonstrations to potential clients, effectively highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Needs Assessment & Solution Selling: Listen actively to customer requirements, conduct thorough needs assessments, and recommend appropriate products or services that address their challenges.
- Negotiation & Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms and close sales deals to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Sales Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system. Prepare regular sales reports for management.
- Customer Service & Support: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., customer service, technical support) to ensure seamless post-sales experience and client satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Continuously update product/service knowledge and develop a deep understanding of their applications and benefits to effectively articulate value to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a direct sales role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Resilience and a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
- Willingness to travel as needed (if applicable to the role).
