Accounting Assistant / Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

The Accounting Assistant / Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and administrative finance functions. The role ensures accurate recording of transactions and assists in maintaining reliable financial data and reports.

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting
  • Record and monitor daily accounting transactions accurately and timely
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounting schedules
  • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable monitoring
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and management schedules
  • Support budget monitoring and expense tracking
  • Perform basic financial analysis and variance monitoring
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in financial records
Audit and Documentation Support
  • Prepare documents and schedules required for internal and external audits
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records and supporting documents
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting-related concerns
Administrative and Operational Support
  • Assist in processing billing, reimbursements, and payment-related transactions
  • Support the finance team in various operational and reporting requirements
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support is an advantage
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/software
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
