Senior Auditor (US Audit Firm, WFH)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PHT)

• Bachelor's in Accounting.
• Master's degree is a plus, but not mandatory
• CPA certification (active) preferred
• If not CPA, actively working toward education and requirements for CPA certification.

Nice to have:

• Minimum of 2+ years recent work experience as an auditor at a public accounting firm, demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic business, technology, or audit principles/standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).

• Lead client audit engagements, which include planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Obtain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.
• Build credibility by displaying business acumen, applying technical competence, and engaging in relevant discussions with clients and engagement teams
• Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns on audit process.
• Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues.
• Acquire a working knowledge of the client's business.
• Proactively interact with key client's management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
