Experience : At least three (3) years’ work experience in the field of procurement and/or supply chain. With a minimum of one (1) yearexperience in a supervisory or officer level.

JOB SUMMARY
  • Leads and suggests meaningful canvassing and sourcing strategies by adopting the program and the Foundation’s direction towards a win-win partnership with stakeholders, nation-building, community involvement, diversity and inclusion, and poverty reduction in accordance with local and international partnership.
  • Responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers while ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective travel arrangements for staff. This role bridges procurement processes with travel coordination, ensuring all bookings (flights, accommodations, and transport) align with organizational policies and approved vendor agreements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists the Procurement Senior Officer in team direction and activities
  • Suggests and leads canvassing/sourcing standards in accordance with the direction of the Procurement Senior Officer
  • Implements sourcing strategies and gives recommendations on items/services for procurement while maintaining the Foundation's competitive edge
  • Involved in the first-line screening for approved Purchase Requisitions and serves as the team’s point of contact for assigned PRs and Pos
  • Maintains open lines of communication with the Operations team and other units to ensure confidence and enhance internal client relationships
  • Monitors the team's activities to ensure the highest level of the requesting unit’s satisfaction and provides support for both internal and external requesting units
  • Maintains and enhances supplier relationships
  • Works as the BAC Secretariat and ensures that all procurements undertaken by the Procuring Entity are properly documented
  • Creates, distributes, safekeeps, and manages critical documents and communications, especially those related to the canvassing/sourcing
  • Assists in recruiting, training, motivating, and evaluating team members to ensure/maintain the Foundation’s skills base whilst enhancing the team’s potential and contribution to PBSP
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or the management
