Compliance officer - supervisor nurse
About the role
We are seeking a Compliance Officer - Supervisor Nurse to join the team at Arayat Doctors Hospital. This is a full-time position based in Arayat, Pampanga. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our healthcare operations maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance whilst upholding our commitment to patient safety and quality care.You will serve as a bridge between clinical nursing operations and our compliance and risk management framework, playing a crucial role in safeguarding our institution's integrity and reputation.
Key responsibilities- Monitor and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies across nursing departments and clinical areas
- Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive compliance programmes specific to nursing operations and patient care delivery
- Provide training and education to nursing staff on compliance requirements, regulatory obligations and best practices in healthcare governance
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, accreditation agencies and external stakeholders regarding compliance matters and audit requirements
- Maintain detailed records and reports on compliance activities, metrics and outcomes for senior management review
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff in their respective roles, ensuring adherence to clinical and administrative standards
- Review and update compliance procedures and policies in response to regulatory changes and emerging healthcare standards
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing qualification with current professional licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Maters in Nursing Graduate
- Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing practice within a hospital or healthcare setting
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical environment
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations, accreditation standards and patient safety protocols
- Proven experience in conducting audits, investigations and developing compliance strategies
- Knowledge of relevant Philippine healthcare regulations and Department of Health (DOH) requirements is advantageous
