Job Description

This role is responsible for managing and analyzing business and financial data, generating insights, and supporting strategic business decisions using reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Cognos, SAP). The role focuses on performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Maintain, analyze, and enhance databases extracted from various reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, PowerBI, SAP, NAV) to serve as repositories for historical and projected business information.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze financial and business performance, identifying strategies for growth in occupancy, revenue, net income, and cost management.
• Project Support: Assist in evaluating new projects, site expansions, renovations, closures, and product introductions/rationalizations.
• Cost Analysis: Compare actual vs. standard costs for ongoing expenses, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Reporting: Support regular and ad-hoc reporting needs, providing timely and accurate data for revenue, profit, and performance monitoring.
• Data Quality: Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, and accuracy, ensuring the integrity of business intelligence.
• Collaboration: Work with various departments to gather data requirements and ensure the alignment of business plans.
• Financial Modeling: Perform what-if analyses and create financial models to assess business scenarios and make data-driven recommendations.
• Strategic Insights: Track and visualize business trends, correlate key metrics, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Administrative Support: Provide technical and administrative support during management meetings and strategic sessions.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with Data Management Analysts and Junior Business Planning Analysts to streamline operations and reports.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (major in Financial Management), Applied Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Strong background in data management, descriptive statistics, forecasting, correlation, and spreadsheet modeling.
• Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, PowerBI) and ERP systems (e.g., NAV, SAP).
• Knowledge of managerial accounting tools such as income statements, cost-benefit analyses, and capital budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and data processing abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Innovative, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Merville, Paranaque
