Plant Machine Maintenance Technician

• Repair, maintain, and monitor the inventory of tools and spare parts required for the timely repair and upkeep of all production machinery.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and programs tailored to the operational requirements of production equipment.
• Coordinate with the Production Planner and Production Supervisor to establish and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports needed to to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented procedures and programs, as required by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Manufacturing Head.
• Create and update machine history cards and maintenance log sheets to accurately track all maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor in preparing cost estimates, project timelines, and budget requirements for maintenance activities and initiatives.
• Practices 5S standards in the workplace to promote safety, efficiency, and organization.
• Upholds and protects the company’s image, values, and reputation at all times.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

• Graduate of a Technical-Vocational course related to Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology.
• Knowledgeable in motor controls with varying capacities, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and other relevant digital and automation technologies.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience as a Machine Technician.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; experience in the steel manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to negotiate and communicate across multiple departments.
• Trustworthy, highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Amenable to work on-site from Mondays to Saturdays, 06:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. at Light Industry and Science Park of the Philippines, Cabuyao, Laguna.
• Available to start immediately.
