Senior Quality Engineer (TOSCA, API Testing, CI/CD, Automation, DevOps)

Job description:

• Location: BGC, Taguig
• Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days onsite - 3 days WFH)
• Initially 12-months contract with great potential for absorption based on performance

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong TOSCA and API Testing experience to design, build, and lead high-quality automated testing solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in QA Automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices, who can ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient testing across complex systems.

You will play a key role in automation strategy, system integration testing, and continuous delivery, while working closely with cross-functional Agile teams.

• Design and develop high-quality automated test scripts (functional, smoke, regression) using TOSCA or similar automation tools
• Perform API testing and integration testing using tools like ReadyAPI / Postman
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket) to support continuous testing
• Analyze system data flows and backend integrations, including event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka)
• Lead test script reviews, ensure quality standards, and sign off on test solutions
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and automation enhancements
• Conduct POCs (Proof of Concept) to evaluate new tools, frameworks, and approaches
• Ensure adherence to best practices in QA, DevOps, and secure coding/testing standards

Requirements

• Strong experience in QA Automation / Quality Engineering (Senior level)
• Hands-on experience with TOSCA (Tricentis) or similar test automation tools
• Solid experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like ReadyAPI
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git)
• Familiarity with JIRA for test and defect management
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, TDD/BDD methodologies
• Experience with system integration testing, data flows, and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Kafka or event-driven systems
• Experience with service virtualization

• Background in Life Insurance / Financial Services domain
• Experience with Java or other programming languages
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps tools
• Experience with multiple automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber)
