Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Purpose and Description

Responsible for the development, design and production of the Company’s internal and external marketing and business development activities. Works with sales and management team to define appropriate marketing strategies to ensure the company’s continued growth and prosperity.

Works with divisional leadership to identify needs and implement and create marking programs, events and pieces to meet identified needs and bring desired results. Responsible for estimating and controlling costs associated with marketing programs, and related activities including budgeting.

Responsibilities/Duties
  • · Maintain and manage schedule of company wide marketing events and activities. Coordinate and ensure completion of items in coordination with other divisions and key staff.
  • · Manage the company’s communications programs, such as newsletters, direct mail, company brochures, catalogues, etc. Also assist with the development and management of internal communication programs and pieces.
  • · Produce various company publications, which may include weekly specials flyers, monthly specials flyers, employee newsletter, company newsletter and distribution materials for trade shows and special events.
  • · Gather data, copy and photographs needed for publications. Coordinate and manage all activities of writers, graphic designers, and printers.
  • · Oversee the marketing budget. Manage projects within budget and negotiate with vendors for best pricing.
  • · Assist in the audit and maintenance of the company web sites.
  • · Maintain inventory of the company’s promotional literature. Develop presentation materials for speaking engagements. This would include cataloging, inventory, and protection of the materials.
  • · Order reprints. Have materials available for seminars, public speaking opportunities, and other needs.
  • · Monitor result of advertising campaigns and prepares internal status reports for management. Assists as needed with employee advertising and recruiting.
  • · Other duties as assigned.
  • · Manage trade show schedules – ensure contracts are completed and submitted and the company secures optimal location.
  • · Manage and oversee tradeshow set up and take down.
  • · Support VP of HR in the management and execution of all company events.
  • · Support marketing team on administrative tasks
  • · Coordinate and capture photos and videos for publicity and publication.
  • · Manage CRM system.
  • · Manage and post-employment and recruiting ads.
  • · Manage the photo and video archive.
  • · Manage the company history archive.
  • · Coordinate NALP submittal.
  • · Re-launch customer survey effort.
  • · Manage Daily/Weekly/Monthly To-Do list for Marketing.
Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements
  • · Some experience in advertising, communications, or sales management.
  • · Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • · Strong editing skills, attention to detail.
  • · Proficiency with business office equipment, including spreadsheet, word processing, and desktop publishing software.
