Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor leads and manages warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, kitting, and shipments. Oversees workforce performance, drives process improvements, and monitors KPIs to meet operational targets.Collaborates cross-functionally, manages inventory levels, and supports workforce and capacity planning while ensuring compliance with systems like MRP, WMS, and SAP.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, kitting, inventory control, and outbound shipments.
- Ensure accurate and timely physical and system transactions using MRP, WMS, and SAP.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes, systems, and overall operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse KPIs, ensuring performance targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy (quantity and location) through regular audits, controls, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Purchasing, and cross-functional teams to manage inbound and outbound inventory flow.
- Identify and resolve operational issues through effective problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to improve performance, engagement, and retention.
- Manage daily and weekly inventory value tracking, including reporting, control, and escalation of discrepancies.
- Support workforce and storage capacity planning aligned with business forecasts and operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations/Production Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, and MRP systems (required).
- Experience in handling sensitive materials (e.g., static-sensitive components) is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of demand-driven or lean manufacturing systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance and foster collaboration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and sites.
