About the role

As a Skin Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our client interactions, providing personalized skincare assessments and recommendations that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your expertise and consultative approach will directly contribute to the success of our business and the wellbeing of our clientele.

Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive skin assessments and analyses to identify clients' skincare concerns and conditions
2. Provide personalized skincare recommendations based on individual skin types, conditions and lifestyle factors
3. Educate clients on proper skincare routines, product usage and maintenance of skin health
4. Demonstrate and explain skincare products and treatments to potential and existing clients
5. Maintain detailed client records and track progress of skincare concerns over time
6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and high-quality client service
7. Stay current with industry trends, new skincare technologies and product innovations
8. Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue generation through product and service recommendations
9. Handle client inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly

What we're looking for:

1. Relevant qualification or certification in skincare, cosmetology, aesthetics or a related field
2. Proven experience as a Skin Consultant, aesthetician or in a similar client-facing skincare role
3. In-depth knowledge of skin types, conditions and appropriate skincare solutions
4. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex skincare concepts clearly and persuasively
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and genuine passion for helping clients achieve their skincare goals
6. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
7. Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and recommend suitable products and treatments
8. Professional appearance and commitment to personal grooming standards
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients effectively
10. Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards in skincare practice
