About the role
As the Quality Assurance Assistant Manager at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our automotive manufacturing operations in Lipa City, Batangas. What you'll be doing- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to monitor and improve product quality
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues
- Analyse quality data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address the root causes of quality problems
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensure compliance within the organisation
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret quality data and identify root causes
- Proficient in the use of quality assurance tools and software, such as SPC, FMEA, and Six Sigma
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality management, or a related discipline
