Procurement Specialist

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality products at competitive prices.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of inventory and operational supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to maintain optimal stock availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective suppliers.
- Track order status, deliveries, and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and purchasing procedures.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain efficiencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in a wholesale, distribution, or trading environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
