Operations manager

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day operations for all AFP dispatch activities, ensuring coverage, compliance, and smooth execution of routes
• Supervise and support the dispatch team, lead agents, and other staff across all shifts (day, night, and weekend crews)
• Handle escalations from dispatchers, clients, or drivers and ensure timely resolution of operational issues
• Review and respond to AFP performance metrics and scorecard reports; implement corrective actions as needed
• Monitor driver schedules to ensure HOS compliance and avoid violations
• Coordinate training, coaching, and performance reviews for dispatchers and team leads
• Oversee onboarding and scheduling for new client accounts or driver groups
• Communicate with AFP contacts, carrier managers, and ROC for coordination and updates
• Track KPIs such as on-time performance, trip completion, and communication response rates
• Work with HR and leadership on staffing, disciplinary action, and policy enforcement
• Maintain updated SOPs and ensure all team members are aligned with operational standards

• Working experience in a managerial capacity
• Experience with Amazon Fleet Dispatch and client management
• Willingness to work on shifting schedules, holidays, and/or weekends.
• Above average English communication skills, written and verbal
