Control and direct the movement of hauling trucks and heavy equipment along haul roads, loading areas, and access points.Provide clear hand signals and use flags, radios, or whistles to guide vehicle operators safely. • Ensure compliance with designated speed limits, traffic routes, and mine safety regulations.
Coordinate with equipment operators, supervisors, and security personnel to prevent congestion and accidents.
Monitor road conditions and immediately report hazards such as poor visibility, slippery surfaces, or obstructions.
Assist during loading, unloading, and maneuvering of trucks in confined or high risk areas.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Support emergency response actions in case of accidents or unsafe conditions.
Qualifications/Requirements
At least high school graduate or equivalent.With prior experience as a flagman or traffic aide, construction, or industrial operations (preferred).
Knowledge of basic mine safety rules and hand signaling procedures.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and dusty environments.
