Finance Data Analyst (Senior)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Finance Data Analyst with a strong background in Accounting and Finance and proven experience in the Telecommunications (Telco) industry. The ideal candidate will analyze financial and operational data, provide actionable insights, and support business decision-making through accurate reporting and data analysis.
Work Setup: Hybrid (1–2 days per week onsite; remaining days work from home)
Key Responsibilities- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and performance analyses for management.
- Interpret large datasets to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across financial reports.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and business stakeholders to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and provide insights to improve performance.
- Support ad hoc reporting and analytical projects as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong background in Accounting and Finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Telecommunications (Telco) industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP and financial systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
