About the role
Triton Constructions Development Corporation is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer – QA/QC to join our team in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety and compliance of all our construction projects.As QA/QC Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining rigorous quality assurance and quality control protocols across all phases of our construction operations, from planning through project completion. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering world-class construction projects and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the industry.
Key responsibilities- Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive quality assurance and quality control plans for all construction projects
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes and safety regulations
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality control documentation, including test reports, inspection records and non-conformance reports
- Oversee material testing and sampling procedures to verify that all construction materials meet specified standards and requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors and site engineers to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly
- Review and approve construction drawings, specifications and method statements from a quality perspective
- Conduct training and awareness programmes for site personnel on quality standards and procedures
- Monitor progress against quality metrics and KPIs, preparing regular reports for senior management
- Ensure all QA/QC activities comply with relevant Philippine building codes, international standards and company policies
- Liaise with third-party inspectors and certifying bodies to coordinate inspections and obtain necessary approvals
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Civil Engineering issued by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Philippines – this is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry with Materials Engineer Certificate
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Building Code (PBC), National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) and relevant international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001)
- Proficiency in quality management systems and QA/QC software applications
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, materials testing protocols and inspection procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant project management tools
- Preferred experience: Previous experience with large-scale commercial, residential or infrastructure projects; familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling); experience with construction documentation and defect management systems
