Procurement Engineer

About the role
As a Procurement Engineer at Net Pacific, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of materials, components, and services for our manufacturing operations in Taguig City Metro Manila. This full-time position is integral to supporting our company's growth and delivering high-quality products to our customers.
What you'll be doing- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and procure the necessary materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing processes
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Manage and maintain supplier relationships, evaluating their performance and ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and stay up-to-date with industry trends
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimise costs, minimise risks, and enhance supply chain efficiency
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline procurement processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, budgets, and spend
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and seamless integration of procured materials into the manufacturing process
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management
- Proficiency in data analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and procurement software
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control standards
