Job Description:

Health and Safety
  • Ensure compliance in occupational health and safety standards in compliance to (DOH & DOLE).
  • Establish programs to promote a healthy lifestyle and good work life balance.
  • Identify risk factors in the workplace and recommends solution to prevent any physically incapacitating diseases in accordance with regulatory standards, compliance with infection control.
  • Promote health consciousness/awareness programs by providing information on common illnesses, its prevention and cure.
  • Monitor safety hazard in the workplace through routine inspection and recommend preventive measures.
Health Services
  1. Provide basic medical care to employees such as administration of first aid treatment for mild illnesses or injuries for workplace incidents.
  2. Provide assistance in emergency cases.
  3. Responsible for the inventory of first aid medicines and medicine equipment.
  4. Arrange and schedule the annual medical check-up of employees.
  5. Inform employees of medical findings requiring immediate attention.
  6. Inform HR and Management if there are critical illnesses found in Annual Medical results.
  7. Conduct home visits to check employee condition in case of absence due to sickness, if needed.
  8. Coordinate with HR for pre-employment medical exams, employee claims/reimbursements.
  9. Safekeeping and maintenance of employees systematic filing of medical records and updating of the same in line with Data Privacy Act of 2012.
  10. Helps employee find appropriate healthcare providers and schedule medical consultations when needed.
  11. Assist employees, especially those who are unable to do so for themselves, in requesting letter of Guarantee (LOG) for HMO related services. Coordination with CompBen.
  12. Address employee concerns regarding coverage, claims utilization.
  13. Assist in HMO renewal including workplace census.
Others
  1. Performs other duties as necessary in meeting the objectives/mission of the department and/or as assigned by superior.
  2. Support HR in benefits policy updates and compliance documentation.
  3. Adhere to established Food Safety standards and policies.
  4. Assist Human Resource Department with employee engagement especially those promote health and fitness programs.
  5. Attend to errand of company executives especially with their medical.
  6. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of medical records.
  • Graduate of BS Nursing, must be with current PRC as a Registered Nurse.
  • With at least 1 year related work experience in clinic and hospital setting.
  • With certifications (BOSH, OSH), Basic Life Support and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
  • Proficient in MS Office Application.
  • Professional, service oriented.
