Finance Analyst (CPA)
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making by
delivering accurate financial reports, conducting thorough business and financial analyses, and ensuring
data-driven insights are made available to leadership. The role contributes to long-term financial planning,investment evaluation, and the continuous enhancement of internal financial processes aligned with the
company’s growth and operational goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Planning and Budgeting- Develop and maintain the 3- to 5-year financial plan in alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the Annual Company Budget.
- Build financial models to support strategic plans, operational forecasts, and scenario analysis.
- Support investment analysis and capital budgeting decisions through sound financial modeling and
- Prepare consolidated cash flow forecasts for Yondu and its subsidiaries to support liquidity planning
- Conduct company valuation analyses for M&A, goodwill impairment testing, and investment
decisions using appropriate methodologies (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent
transactions, etc.).
Financial Reporting and Business Performance Analysis- Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and cost trends, highlighting key variances and
- Prepare and deliver Monthly Performance Reviews and Business Updates to the Management
- Conduct variance analysis vs. forecast, budget, and historical performance, identifying risks and
- Evaluate program and project financial performance—including ROI and post-implementation
reviews.
Operational and Strategic Business Analysis- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Delivery, etc.) to assess financial impact of new
- Provide insights into market conditions, competitor performance, and macroeconomic trends
- Perform root cause analysis on business shortfalls and recommend actionable solutions.
- Continuously enhance financial reporting tools, dashboards, and templates for greater accuracy and
- Identify gaps in data availability and work with teams to improve financial data integrity and
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and internal controls.
- Provide timely and insightful financial analysis or reports as requested by leadership.
- Support special projects, such as due diligence, pricing studies, or cost rationalization initiatives.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management, or Economics (CPA is an
- Related Work Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, or
- Preferably from Top 4 (SGV, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte)
- Knowledge – Strong understanding of GAAP and PFRS

○ Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis tools)- Skills –
