Overview
The Sales Operations Manager will act as the engine room of the sales organization, translating commercial strategy into operational precision. This role owns the infrastructure that drives consistent, scalable, and measurable revenue growth across all channels and teams.
Key Responsibilities
Core Function- Own and defend the revenue number such as forecasting, tracking, and closing gaps in real time.
- Drive territory, quota, and incentive design to maximize sales productivity
- Build and manage revenue dashboards that give leadership full pipeline visibility
- Design sales processes that accelerate deal velocity and reduce revenue leakage
- Identify and close revenue leakage across accounts, channels, and territories.
- Run weekly revenue reviews by calling the number, flagging risks, and driving corrective action.
- Partner with Finance on revenue modeling, gap analysis, and sales performance reporting.
- Optimize the sales tech stack to sharpen forecasting accuracy and revenue tracking.
- Serves as the strategic partner, translating revenue ambitions into operational playbooks and holding the team accountable to targets through data-backed reviews.
- Influences cross-functional teams by presenting clear revenue impact analyses and driving alignment on shared KPIs and commercial goals.
- Champions a culture of rigor by institutionalizing forecasting discipline, cadence, and accountability practices across the entire sales organization.
- BS/BA in Business, Economics, or Engineering
- Proven years of experience in sales operations leadership preferably in construction materials, chemicals, asphalt, coatings, infrastructure technologies, or industrial product distribution
- Has managed operations across a team of 10+ sales specialists or multi-region setups
