US Collections & Legal Support Specialist | BPO ON-SITE QUEZON CITY
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented US Collections & Legal Support Specialist to support our commercial collections operations.
This role combines outbound collections with legal administrative support. You will work directly with our Collections Director to follow up with merchants regarding outstanding accounts, monitor promises to pay, assist with legal demand communications, and ensure that sensitive documents and records are handled with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
We're looking for someone who communicates confidently, exercises sound judgment and pays exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Collections- Contact merchants regarding active and past-due accounts through outbound calls and email.
- Professionally follow up on payment commitments and promises to pay.
- Gather accurate account information and document all interactions in the CRM.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and firm communication style during every customer interaction.
- Escalate complex account matters and settlement requests to the Collections Director.
- Assist in preparing and sending legal demand letters and related documents.
- Handle confidential financial and legal information with discretion.
- Verify names, business information, account numbers, and other critical details before documents are issued.
- Maintain organized electronic records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Update CRM records, case notes, follow-up schedules, and daily activity logs.
- Support document management and other administrative tasks related to the collections process.
- Communicate and coordinate with law firms regarding legal demands and related documentation.
- At least 1 year of collections, commercial collections, financial services, legal support, or related BPO experience.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (B1/C1 proficiency or equivalent).
- Strong phone presence and confidence handling professional conversations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to work full US Eastern Time hours (night shift).
- Experience in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA), commercial collections, legal support, paralegal work, or document-heavy administrative roles is an advantage.
