Kaayoo The Filipino Kitchen is excited to expand with our second and bigger branch at Streetscape Mall, Cebu. As part of our pre-opening preparations, we are hiring Hostess/Waiter staff to join our Front-of-House team. Position: WAITRESS / HOSTESS

Job Summary:

As a Waitress/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience. You will be the face of the restaurant and play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage seating arrangements, reservations, and waitlists.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the dining and front areas.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Follow Kaayoo’s service standards and uphold a positive dining atmosphere.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Participate in pre-opening training and support soft opening operations.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar Front-of-House role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-groomed and presentable at all times.
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to undergo training prior to the branch opening.
