Research and Development (R&D) Analyst

Job Summary:

The R&D Assistant supports the formulation, testing, and improvement of products under OMG Cosmetics and other future brands of Exxel Prime Int’l Trading Inc. The role involves hands-on work in the laboratory, preparation of samples, documentation of results, and assisting in quality and regulatory compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and formulation of cosmetics and personal care product samples.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests, stability studies, and performance evaluations.
• Accurately record data, observations, and test results for each formulation.
• Support packaging compatibility testing and product scale-up trials.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control and Regulatory Affairs teams for testing and documentation.
• Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the R&D laboratory and equipment.
• Conduct research on ingredients, raw materials, and cosmetic trends.
• Assist in raw material sourcing and sample acquisition.
• Prepare reports, labels, and technical documents for new and existing products.
• Perform other duties related to product development as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science course.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in a cosmetics or pharmaceutical lab is a plus.
• Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, basic laboratory techniques, and safety procedures.
• Detail-oriented and organized with good documentation habits.
• Comfortable handling chemicals and laboratory equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong interest in beauty, skincare, or personal care product development.
• Willing to work on-site in Baesa, Caloocan City.
