Job Description:

Commercial Growth & Business Development
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's market presence across hospitality, commercial, and construction industries.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including office fit-outs, mixed-use developments, hotels, resorts, warehouses, and infrastructure projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, investors, architects, consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities to achieve long-term business objectives.
Sales & Commercial Leadership
  • Achieve annual sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Lead and mentor the commercial and business development team to maximize performance.
  • Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and pipeline reports to support strategic planning.
  • Ensure effective CRM utilization and opportunity management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team effectiveness.
Strategic Partnerships
  • Establish partnerships with developers, hospitality operators, consultants, design firms, and industry organizations.
  • Represent the company at networking events, trade exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Build relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders involved in commercial and hospitality developments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, sales, commercial management, or a related leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the construction, engineering, real estate, hospitality, or commercial industries.
  • Proven ability to secure high-value projects and build long-term client relationships.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Achievement of annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Value of projects secured.
  • Number of qualified business opportunities generated.
  • Lead-to-contract conversion rate.
  • Client acquisition and retention.
  • Gross profit margin on awarded projects.
  • Sales forecast accuracy.
  • Growth of the commercial client portfolio.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong network within the construction, commercial, or hospitality industries.
  • Experience working with developers, contractors, hotel operators, consultants, or design firms.
  • Knowledge of design-build, fit-out, general contracting, and project delivery models.
  • Familiarity with commercial and hospitality project requirements and industry standards.
