Customer Service and Sales Representative

This person will serve as the front line of our customer experience—answering incoming phone calls, responding to customer messages, dispatching grooming vans, and converting inquiries into scheduled appointments. They will be responsible for guiding potential clients through our service offerings, overcoming objections, and convincing them to book with confidence.

A key focus of this role is Sales Conversion—the ability to consistently turn leads into paying customers. This includes upselling premium services, securing rebookings, and promoting package deals, all of which are essential to growing Kontota’s revenue.

In addition, the ideal candidate will excel in Customer Relationship Management, building trust and rapport with pet parents to ensure long-term loyalty and repeat business. Their ability to maintain relationships will be vital for increasing customer lifetime value and boosting retention rates.

Strong Communication skills are a must. This person must be clear, persuasive, and professional in both verbal and written communication. They’ll need to explain our services with confidence, answer questions thoroughly, and create urgency that motivates clients to take action.

They should also be strong in Problem Solving, able to handle objections, resolve concerns, and adjust schedules or solutions in real-time to ensure customer satisfaction without compromising company standards.

A critical part of this role includes dispatching grooming vans efficiently—ensuring our routes are optimized and our groomers are fully booked with minimal downtime. The person in this role must be organized, proactive, and quick to adjust in a dynamic environment.

Lastly, Accountability is non-negotiable. This person will be expected to hit clear sales and rebooking targets, follow up with leads, and maintain a high level of consistency in performance, responsiveness, and team coordination.
