Job Title: Electronics / Biomedical Technician (Subcontractor)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and adaptable Electronics / Biomedical Technician to join our hospital-based technical team. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of hospital medical equipment, air conditioning units, hospital beds, and other electronic systems.

This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and a willingness to be assigned to various hospital sites or areas as needed to support operational needs. The technician is expected to perform duties responsibly as part of the job scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain biomedical equipment, air conditioning units, hospital beds, and other electronic devices
• Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure optimal and safe equipment operation
• Diagnose and resolve electronic and mechanical issues within the hospital environment
• Coordinate with fellow technicians, supervisors, and hospital staff to ensure the timely completion of repairs and services
• Maintain accurate service reports, PM records, and logbook entries
• Comply with hospital safety standards, infection control protocols, and company policies
• Be available for on-call duty, overtime work, and emergency response as required
• Conduct fieldwork and travel to other sites for equipment servicing and installation
• Accept temporary or permanent assignment to other hospital sites or areas based on operational requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduate of at least a 2-year technical or vocational course specializing in:
• Biomedical Equipment Servicing NC II
• Electronics Technician
• Hospital Bed Systems
• or other related fields
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or similar environment is an advantage, but not required
• Strong knowledge of electronic systems, medical devices, and hospital bed mechanisms
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Strong troubleshooting, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work overtime, perform fieldwork, and accept relocation or reassignment as needed

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Biomedical Equipment Servicing NC II or Electronics Technology
• Familiarity with hospital safety protocols, DOH standards, and technical compliance requirements

Working Conditions:

• Hospital-based assignment with possible fieldwork
• On-call duty, overtime, and emergency work may be required
• Temporary or project-based reassignment to other sites may be necessary
