Finance Analyst (Commercial Planning)

Job Summary:

This role is critical to the company’s financial planning and decision-making processes, providing strategic insights and financial analysis to guide commercial and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

• Develop, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models for business case evaluation (Airport and Airport City Development).
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Monitor key financial KPIs, trends, and deviations, and recommend actionable strategies.

1. Business & Commercial Planning

• Support the development of the project’s business case by conducting industry research, competitive benchmarking, and commercial feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with aviation experts, business units, and external consultants to shape commercial strategies and revenue planning.
• Participate in organizational structure reviews and transaction structuring in coordination with tax, legal, and finance advisors.

1. Financial Strategy & Support

• Assist in the planning and execution of financing strategies, including commercial loans and project financing.
• Work closely with treasury for cash flow management, drawdown planning, and alignment with CapEx schedules.
• Provide support in presenting findings and financial insights to management, partners, and stakeholders.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with various functional teams such as project management, operations, and procurement to ensure financial alignment with project priorities.
• Lead or support the implementation of new financial systems and reporting tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (CPA/CFA/MBA) is a plus
• 3–5 years of experience in financial planning, commercial or investment analysis; experience in aviation, infrastructure, or transportation is a strong advantage
• Advanced financial modelling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Solid understanding of financial structuring, business case development, and capital project planning
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred
