PURCHASING OFFICER

We are currently looking for a Purchasing Officer to support procurement operations for our shipyard projects. The role is responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and supplies required for boat building and shipyard operations while ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.

• College graduate in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Marine Engineering, or other related fields
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably related to boat building, shipyard operations, construction, or heavy industry
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier sourcing, and inventory coordination
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in basic procurement documentation and reporting

• Source and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies required for boat building and shipyard operations
• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors
• Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and contract terms with suppliers
• Monitor and track orders, deliveries, and inventory levels
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely procurement
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier database
• Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and quality requirements
