Senior Specialist - Finance Process and Systems Optimization

Job Summary

This position partners closely with accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, IT, and business units to improve operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support finance transformation through technology-enabled solutions.

1. Finance Process Optimization

• Review, analyze, and map existing finance processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and control gaps
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Lead process standardization initiatives across finance teams and business units
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and workflow maps

1. Finance Systems Management and Enhancement

• Serve as finance point person for ERP, financial reporting systems, and related finance applications
• Identify system enhancement opportunities to improve automation and user experience
• Coordinate with IT, system vendors, and internal stakeholders for system improvements and issue resolution
• Support system configuration reviews, testing, and implementation of enhancements

1. Automation and Digital Transformation

• Drive automation projects for repetitive and manual finance tasks
• Evaluate and recommend tools for workflow automation, reconciliation improvements, and reporting optimization
• Support implementation of digital finance solutions including dashboards, workflow tools, and data integration initiatives
• Promote adoption of technology-enabled process improvements across finance teams

1. Project Management

• Lead finance process improvement and systems enhancement projects from planning through execution
• Prepare project plans, timelines, status updates, and post-implementation reviews
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Support change management activities and user adoption initiatives

1. Data, Reporting, and Analytics Optimization

• Improve finance reporting workflows for accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
• Support development of dashboards and management reporting tools
• Analyze process and system performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities
• Ensure data integrity across finance systems and reporting platforms

1. Governance, Controls, and Compliance

• Ensure process changes maintain strong internal controls and regulatory compliance
• Support audit requirements related to finance systems and process controls
• Participate in risk assessments for process and system changes
• Recommend control enhancements where needed

1. Stakeholder Collaboration and Support

• Partner with accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, procurement, and IT teams
• Provide process and systems advisory support to finance users
• Conduct user training for new systems, enhancements, and process changes
• Act as subject matter expert for finance process improvement initiatives
