Senior Accountant - Manila

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting, excellent attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Analyse financial statements for discrepancies and other issues
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Understanding of the accounting cycle and how all elements affect the financial movement of the entity
• Experience with computerized ledger systems preferably Xero and MYOB
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Previous experience in an accounting firm would be greatly beneficial
• Ability to pick up processes quickly
• This role should be open to do bookkeeping work if required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in training and mentoring junior accounting staff
