Project Engineer - Mechanical (Water and Wastewater)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles, specifically in water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, piping systems, valves, and mechanical equipment used in treatment plants.
• Proven experience managing project timelines and resources.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work onsite full-time and manage day-to-day project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and oversee mechanical engineering activities related to water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Review and approve mechanical designs, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Manage site activities and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks for mechanical equipment installation, piping, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide technical updates and progress reports.
• Support procurement activities including vendor selection, material approval, and delivery tracking.
