Marketing Associates support the work of other marketing associates and managers of work tasks and projects to maximize company profits and develop sales strategies or marketing campaigns.
Marketing Associates are responsible for:
- developing, designing, updating, and enhancing presentations and marketing materials to promote company services.
- contacting, meeting with, and negotiating with school administrators or decision-makers to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
- reviewing and analyzing sales performances against programs and plans to determine the effectiveness of campaigns.
- handling, developing, and managing sales/marketing operating budgets.
- planning and overseeing marketing and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
- developing and recommending plans, positioning, campaign ideas, and marketing strategies to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
- ensuring effective delivery of marketing results and taking corrective action to guarantee that marketing objectives are achieved within designated budgets.
- evaluating market trends and adjusting marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- monitoring competitor services, sales, and marketing activities.
- establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
- guiding the preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to management.
- establishing and maintaining a consistent corporate image throughout all promotional materials and events.
- submitting performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
- directing market channel development activity and coordinating marketing material distribution by establishing marketing territories, quotas, and goals.
- representing the company at trade conventions, events, and meetings to promote company services.
- meeting with key clients, assisting account coordinators with maintaining relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- assisting other departments within the organization to prepare training manuals and marketing publications.
- preparing periodic reports showing volume, potential closes, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
