Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounting Supervisor to oversee the Visa Processing Team. The role is responsible for supervising the financial and administrative processes related to visa applications, payments, reimbursements, and compliance with company policies.The Accounting Supervisor will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation of all transactions while providing guidance to the team. A CPA license is not required, but candidates with CPA certification or equivalent qualifications will have an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Team Management- Lead, train, and mentor the Visa Processing Team, ensuring efficient task delegation and high-quality output.
- Monitor daily activities related to visa application payments, reimbursements, and financial reporting.
- Conduct regular team meetings, set performance goals, and evaluate team performance.
- Review and validate all visa-related financial transactions, including application fees, government charges, and processing expenses.
- Ensure accuracy of payment records, receipts, and reconciliations.
- Maintain and update financial reports related to visa processing to support audits and management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Oversee the end-to-end financial process of visa applications, from request approval to final settlement.
- Coordinate with HR, Legal, and external agencies to ensure smooth visa-related transactions.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and minimize errors.
- Safeguard sensitive financial and employee information in line with data protection standards.
- Prepare regular financial and operational reports on visa processing expenses and team productivity.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for cost optimization and process enhancement.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting visa-related expenses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Experience in handling financial processes related to HR, visa processing, or compliance is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- CPA license not required, but CPA designation or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Willing to report on-site, 6 days a week
