ERP Specialist

The ERP Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, ERP systems, and the ability to bridge the gap between IT and business functions.

ERP Implementation and Support:

• Lead and participate in the implementation of ERP systems
• Configure and customize ERP solutions to align with business requirements
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the ERP systems

Business Process Analysis:

• Analyze and document business processes and requirements
• Work with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement within the ERP system
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency

System Integration:

• Integrate ERP systems with other internal and external systems
• Ensure seamless data flow between ERP and other systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues

Training and Documentation:

• Create and maintain user manuals and system documentation
• Train end-users on ERP system functionalities and best practices
• Conduct workshops and training sessions as required

Data Management:

• Ensure data integrity and consistency within the ERP system
• Perform regular data audits and clean-ups
• Develop and enforce data governance policies

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to ERP system users
• Diagnose and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Work with ERP vendors for advanced troubleshooting and support

Project Management:

• Manage ERP-related projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ERP implementation, support, and administration
• Experience with specific ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or others
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Familiarity with programming languages and ERP configuration tools
• Understanding of system integration and API management
• Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and human resources
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams
• ERP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle Certified Professional)
• Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions
• Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools
• Experience in change management and training
• Occasional travel may be required for training and project implementation
