Job Overview:

The General Accounting Analyst is accountable for the accuracy of the entries in the accounting records and for the proper application of company policies and generally accepted accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owns the Trial Balance reporting at company code/profit center level.
• Completes the financial information which includes reconciled SL & GL every period end, no aging accounts, proper recording of accruals, and others as outlined in the task list.
• Prepares supplemental reports, information, and documentation as required for internal and external auditors and tax department.
• Provide adequate details regarding reportable items and ageing of reportable items.
• Record and post journal entries including adjustments such as accruals, deferrals, and apportionment of estimates.
• Record intercompany transactions, non-trade receivables/payables timely and accurately, and ensure that transactions are adequately supported;
• Participate in training programs designed to build competencies and activities organized to promote camaraderie and teamwork within the organization.
• Operate in compliance with SOX requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any finance, management course (BS Accountancy preferred, CPA an advantage)
• At least 2 years experience in Financial Accounting.
• With experience in Financial Accounting, IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
